Over 90 dagen is in Gelderland de StartupDelta Summit. Hét evenement waar iedereen die ook maar iets met innovatie van doen heeft aanwezig is. We verwachten op 19 april 2000 mensen: ervaren ondernemers, startups, innovatie hubs, bestuurders, experts, wetenschappers, studenten en maatschappelijke organisaties.

Doel van de dag: het hele innovatie-ecosysteem bij elkaar brengen om startups en innovatieve ondernemers verder te helpen. Daar zijn veel partijen bij nodig: overheden, investeerders, onderzoekers, experts en creatieven. En natuurlijk ondernemers en startups zelf.

Tijdens de dag zijn er: topsprekers, strategische werksessies, thema cafés, rondetafelgesprekken, 1 op 1 gesprekken, battles en tientallen innovaties te zien, ervaren en proeven.

Waarom is het interessant dat jij en jouw netwerk daar zijn

Gelderland is medeorganisator en krijgt alle ruimte om tijdens de StartupDelta Summit te tonen hoe innovatief we zijn. Dat kan op diverse thema’s. Thema’s die zeker aan de orde zijn: duurzaamheid, circulair, energietransitie, digitalisering, blockchain, robotica, internationalisering, agrofood, mobiliteit en health. Denk ook onderwerpen als de aansluiting van onderwijs op de arbeidsmarkt, talentontwikkeling, innovaties in de sport en voedselinnovaties.
Het is een landelijk evenement met een internationaal tintje. Dat biedt kansen om ons Gelderse netwerk te verbinden aan partners uit heel Nederland en onze Europese relaties. We verwachten zo’n 2000 mensen als publiek, dus grijp je kans en laat zien hoe innovatief onze provincie is. Als jij nog bepaalde plannen hebt, of specifieke doelen wil bereiken, dan biedt de StartupDelta Summit daarvoor een mooie kans! Denk er eens over na of je jouw geplande bijeenkomst tijdens de Summit kan laten plaatsvinden. Als side-event met aansluitend toegang tot de Summit, of als onderdeel van de Summit, bijvoorbeeld in een themacafé. Activeer ook je netwerk om mee te doen, want het is juist de bedoeling dat het netwerk zelf in actie komt. Wat kun je organiseren
Als partner kun je je kennis, kunde en lessons learned delen met het hele innovatie ecosysteem. Daarvoor hebben we een aantal formats bedacht. Mail ons als je zo’n sessie wil organiseren. • Open sessie of ronde tafel (10-80 personen; 30 tot 60 min.) = sessie vanuit een inhoudelijk thema, of gericht op een specifieke doelgroep. Bijvoorbeeld een sessie over duurzame landbouw of slimme mobiliteit. Een sessie gericht op startups die snel groeien, of een sessie over de wijk van de toekomst voor een breed publiek. (In deze range is veel mogelijk, we puzzelen de verschillende stukjes in februari bij elkaar).
• Meetup of themacafé (25-80 personen; 60 min.) = een informele bijeenkomst waar je in en uit kunt lopen, maar waar op dat moment wel de mensen uit een specifieke sector of netwerk aanwezig zijn. Bijvoorbeeld een politiek-café of een energie-café, een investeerders-café, of een digitaliserings-café, een café over cybersecurity. Deze cafés kunnen op nationaal en/of regionaal niveau plaatsvinden.
• Innovatieplein Tijdens de Summit zijn er op diverse plekken innovaties te zien, aanraken, proeven en ervaren. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan robots die glazen wassen, zonne-auto’s, een WE-pod, operatierobots, maar denk ook aan experimenteel voedsel, plantinnovaties, et cetera, et cetera.

Hoofdpodium (1000 zitplaatsen): Hier is de officiële opening met Prins Constantijn en enkele gasten, zijn er topsprekers, is er (nog onder voorbehoud) de Topvrouwen-top en een studentendebat over de toekomst van Nederland. Strategische werksessies (50-120 personen; 60 min.): = sessie die erop is gericht het ‘systeem‘ een stap verder te brengen. Bijvoorbeeld alle overheden die samen bespreken hoe ze regelgeving voor startups en innovatieve ondernemers kunnen vereenvoudigen zodat ze beter op kunnen treden als launching customer. Of onderwijs, overheid en ondernemers die zich actief inzetten om aansluiting van onderwijs op bedrijfsleven te verbeteren. Innovatieplein: Op dit plein kunnen startups en ondernemers met elkaar in gesprek gaan om meer te weten te komen over bijvoorbeeld subsidiemogelijkheden en kunnen deelnemers de mensen ontmoeten met wie zij vooraf via de website hebben aangegeven in contact te willen komen.

Challenge: De gedeputeerden van de provincie Gelderland hebben een challenge uitgezet over een maatschappelijk vraagstuk waar zij wakker van liggen. Startups kunnen nog inschrijven tot eind februari. Kijk op www.startupinresidence.com/gelderland

PROGRAMMA
StartupDelta Summit is op 19 april van 13:00 tot 21.00 uur. Op www.startupdeltasummit.com/programma komt de komende weken het hele programma online te staan. De officiële opening is om 14.00 uur, het studentendebat gaat daaraan vooraf. We sluiten inhoudelijk af met een feestelijke ‘battle’ en een eenvoudig diner vanaf 19.30 tot 21.00 uur. Afzakken kan met een DJ tot een uurtje of 22.00.

ETEN en DRINKEN
Bezoekers krijgen een eenvoudige lunch en diner aangeboden en gratis koffie, thee en water. Daarnaast zijn er food trucks, waar je op eigen kosten nog meer hapjes en drankjes kunt kopen.

WAT KOST HET
Bezoekers betalen 99 euro voor de hele dag. Dat is inclusief een eenvoudige lunch en diner. Sessie-organiserende partners krijgen vrij toegang en enkele tickets voor relaties. Studenten, startups en startende ondernemers willen we tickets aanbieden tegen een kleinere prijs. Grotere bedrijven, overheden, hubs en individuen die de standaardprijs kunnen betalen, moeten dat ook doen. We kunnen wel maatwerk leveren aan partners door een korting te regelen bij afname van een grotere hoeveelheid tickets bijvoorbeeld om zelf startups mee te nemen of hun relaties uit te nodigen. We zijn nog bezig om dit goed (digitaal) in te richten. Daarover volgt in februari meer informatie.

Israël
Israël is een bovengemiddeld innovatief land en toonaangevend in de wereld van de high-tech industrie. Israël is met recht een high-tech natie te noemen. In een wereld waarin globalisering, open innovatie en open sourcing een steeds belangrijkere rol gaat spelen, kan voor de Nederlandse high-tech industrie en met name haar technologisch hoogwaardige toeleverende MKB een nadere kennismaking met Israël veel nieuwe mogelijkheden tot business en samenwerking betekenen. Deze samenwerking kan bovendien resulteren in het ontstaan van andere internationale samenwerkingsverbanden. Israël kan in een aantal opzichten gezien worden als ‘internationale hub’ op het vlak van onderzoek en ontwikkeling. Daarnaast is Israel bovendien een toegangspoort tot bedrijven in de VS. Een extra, interessante toegevoegde waarde voor deelname aan deze handelsreis.

Doelgroep
De doelgroep voor deze uitgaande missie is de microtechnologie, vooral gericht op bedrijven actief in de high-tech machine-, apparaten- en instrumentenbouw en de toeleverende industrie daarvan alsmede bedrijven actief in de medische sector. Specialisaties: mechatronica, sensoriek, ultra(precision)engineering, fotonica, optica, motion control, piëzotechnologie en metrologie.

Voor ICT richten wij ons op een breed spectrum van bedrijven zoals: infrastructure & network (advanced transmission, network management), value added services (service en content delivery platforms, billing, customer care en business intelligence, cable &IPTV, enterprise communications, mobile workforce, productivity), vertical solutions & applications (social network connectivity, entertainment, advertising, retail solutions, location based solutions, M2M, safety, e-health, cloud en mobile applications).

A company in the South-East of England has developed a method to produce a biofuel from used vegetable oils. The resulting fuel has a lower carbon footprint and more reliable performance than conventional biodiesel and can be used in any vehicle after minor adaptation (which the company's partner can do). International Business Information Center

The International Business Information Center (IBIC) of the World Trade Center (WTC) Twente matches the global demand and supply with the Dutch-German Euregional businesses. The IBIC is a unique partnership between the World Trade Center Twente, the Chamber of Commerce East Netherlands and the Enterprise Europe Network (a European project of Syntens, Agency NL and EVD/Economic Information Department). The IBIC was launched in April 2009 and on a weekly basis international profiles are evaluated and provided to matching local industries. Profiles vary from finding a suitable agent, distributor or partner. In addition, profiles of regional Business Club members are sent on to one of the other 300 WTC's in the world. In this way IBIC helps regional companies to internationalize their operations and aids foreign companies in setting up locations in the Dutch-German border region.
Together with the Development Agency East Netherlands, Oost NV. The WTC Twente, the Chamber of Commerce and Syntens search their databases for possible matches.
To maintain a high level of confidentiality no data exchange between the three databases are provided.
The Business Club of the WTC Twente is the first group, which is screened for possible matches. Followed by companies from the Chamber of Commerce and Syntens. These companies are noted on the added value of this IBIC service as provided through the WTC Twente. Apart from the matching, the IBIC also can guide your company to a suitable business relation within the WTC partners. IBIC is one of the pillars of the World Trade Center Twente. Why the cleantech Forum comes to Amsterdam this week

Why We're Going Dutch Next Week
This week we'll welcome hundreds of you to our 7th European Cleantech Forum, our first in the Netherlands, our 30th worldwide.
It seems like a more appropriate time to be in Amsterdam than ever before for several reasons:

1) Cleantech has become a very global phenomenon very quickly. The search for investors, partners, and markets needs to adopt an international perspective from the outset to maximize probabilities of success. Since the 16th century, the Netherlands economy has been closely tied to international trade, and the opening up of new growth markets in the global economy.

2) Cleantech is in need of more capital to accelerate the innovations towards the scale of deployments necessary. The next generation of financial innovations are as much in demand, as technological ones to fully unlock the potential of the world’s growing cleantech portfolio. Financial innovations such as a stock exchange and a pension fund can, in part at least, be traced back to Amsterdam and it could very well be the seat of the next wave of financial innovation needed to scale cleantech.

3) Resource efficiency, not energy generation, is the big innovation theme today. As we enter a generation during which the challenges of food, land and water scarcity will become intense and impactful, we have a lot to learn from the Netherlands where 25% of its land is below sea level and yet they are the world’s third largest exporter of agricultural goods.
