Powering mobility; Energy and Mobility 2050 Conference - Enschede The Netherlands

Event theme:
How does the role of energy change in our society? How do we get from point A to point B?
Provide a beckoning prospect to those thousands of people who are currently involved in  electric transport, electric car-sharing, or sustainable energy in Germany and the Netherlands.

‘Powering Mobility’ is the movement that stimulates innovation, cooperation and behavioral changes. We transition current mobility and energy supplies for future use.

Why and how powering mobility
We believe change is necessary to insure a sustainable future. The way we behave and think about mobility and energy has to become more flexible, durable and smart. The existing gap between current supply and future demand challenges us to design new ways of thinking.
These changes can only be accomplished by cooperating with initiatives who dare to think differently. We need to stimulate innovative projects with equal ambitions and join forces. We
want to be the founder of a fundamentally different approach on the current mobility and energy situation.

Setting and developments in our Euregio
In a Dutch-German setting experts from the field will give you insights in what already is happening regarding the transition of mobility and energy in our 'Euregio' region ANDS what we will face off the comming years towards 2050.

    ICT Solutions for smart cities & Eurostars event in Helsinki 5th of April 2016

    The Eurostars Match  - ICT solutions for smart cities -event in Helsinki is a one (1) day event with matchmaking. You get Eurostars information and inspirational talks on developing business in the smart city area. It is a joint event between Tekes, Enterprise Europe Network and Vinnova.

    The event offers SMEs and other organisations active in the smart city business area a possibility to establish transnational R&D&I projects or innovative offerings. Our natural focus is in Finland and Sweden, but all Eurostars countries are welcome. We recommend the event for SMEs within mobility and transport services and within smart building processes and products, but all companies interested in the broad smart city sector are invited.

    Matchmaking
    In the afternoon the participants have the possibility to take part in pre-organized b2b-meetings during the matchmaking session. This gives the participants a great opportunity to meet potential partners for example for the coming Eurostars cut-off-date in the Fall. Eurostars provides funding for market-oriented research and development with the active participation of research and development -performing small – and medium-sized enterprises (R&D-performing SMEs).

    KP7 Calls voor High Tech en ICT bedrijven voor Europese samenwerking

    Nieuwe golf KP7-calls biedt volop kansen voor High Tech & ICT

    In juli 2012 worden de laatste calls van KP7 gelanceerd. Twee grote thema’s – Security en Information- en Communication Technologies (ICT) – lichten we er hier uit.

    Security
    Het KP7-thema Security kent dit jaar het grootste budget tot nu toe. Er is 300 miljoen euro beschikbaar om te zoeken naar nieuwe oplossingen voor veiligheidsvraagstukken. Bijzonder zijn de twee onderwerpen die specifiek op mkb-organisaties zijn gericht. Zo is er aandacht voor oplossingen van kleine criminaliteit met een hoge impact voor de samenleving. Daarnaast wordt het mkb uitgedaagd om met serious gaming operationele diensten te trainen in data analyse.
    Verder zijn er grote demonstratieprojecten te verwachten voor logistics and supply chain security en aftermath crisis management. In het laatste concept werkprogramma is meer informatie te vinden over deze en tientallen andere onderwerpen. De verwachting is dat de call opengaat in juli van dit jaar. Voor een goede voorbereiding kunt u deelnemen aan het brokerage evenement dat wordt georganiseerd door ASD en Eurotech op 22 en 23 mei in Brussel.

    ICT
    Het thema ICT heeft dit jaar ongeveer 1,4 miljard euro voor R&D-projecten op zeer uiteenlopende gebieden: (inter)netwerken, cloud computing, robotica, nano-electronica, fotonica, data analytics, eHealth, smart grids, mobility, ICT & creativiteit, en anderen. Meer details vindt u in het concept werkprogramma. Twee grote calls, ICT call 10 en 11, gaan respectievelijk open in juli en in september dit jaar. Op zoek naar partners voor deze calls? De Europese Commissie organiseert op 26 & 27 september de ‘ICT Proposers Day’, een internationale matchmaking in Warschau (binnenkort meer informatie online).
