ICT Solutions for smart cities & Eurostars event in Helsinki 5th of April 2016

The Eurostars Match  - ICT solutions for smart cities -event in Helsinki is a one (1) day event with matchmaking. You get Eurostars information and inspirational talks on developing business in the smart city area. It is a joint event between Tekes, Enterprise Europe Network and Vinnova.

The event offers SMEs and other organisations active in the smart city business area a possibility to establish transnational R&D&I projects or innovative offerings. Our natural focus is in Finland and Sweden, but all Eurostars countries are welcome. We recommend the event for SMEs within mobility and transport services and within smart building processes and products, but all companies interested in the broad smart city sector are invited.

Matchmaking
In the afternoon the participants have the possibility to take part in pre-organized b2b-meetings during the matchmaking session. Eurostars provides funding for market-oriented research and development with the active participation of research and development -performing small – and medium-sized enterprises (R&D-performing SMEs).

Op 19 mei 2016 organiseren AutomotiveNL en de Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland een workshop over het Europees Innovatieprogramma Eurostars, uiteraard specifiek voor Automotive Bedrijven. Bent u bezig met het ontwikkelen van technologie voor nieuwe producten, processen of diensten? Werkt u daarbij samen met partners in andere landen? Dan kunt u gebruikmaken van Eurostars.

Met Eurostars stimuleren het ministerie van Economische Zaken en de Europese Commissie het onderzoekuitvoerende mkb om marktgerichte technologische ontwikkeling uit te voeren. Het doel is snellere ontwikkeling en groei van kleine bedrijven.

De Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO.nl) voert Eurostars uit in opdracht van het ministerie.

Achtergrond Eurostars
Eurostars is een Europees innovatieprogramma en een initiatief van EUREKA en de Europese Commissie. Eurostars geeft projecten financiële ondersteuning via de nationale overheid van ieder deelnemend land. Het subsidiebedrag hangt af van de projectactiviteiten, de aard van de deelnemers en het land waarin men gevestigd is.

Voor wie
Eurostars is bestemd voor het onderzoekuitvoerende mkb (research performing SME). Deze bedrijven zetten een specifiek deel van hun omzet of fte’s in voor toegepast onderzoek en experimentele ontwikkeling.

Verover nieuwe markten
Gaat u voor het eerst exporteren? Wilt u uw bestaande exportmarkten uitbreiden? Kom dan op 10 maart naar hét event voor (startende)exporteurs. Export naar Zwitserland goedkoper
Export naar Zwitserland is goedkoper geworden. De waarde van de Zwitserse frank is gestegen doordat de koers is losgekoppeld van de euro. Door de waardestijging is de import vanuit eurolanden voor Zwitserland meer dan 10% goedkoper geworden. Dat biedt kansen. Volgens schattingen exporteerde Nederland in 2014 voor ongeveer 5,3 miljard euro aan goederen naar Zwitserland. Meer informatie HIER.

Drijvende windturbines in Japan
Japan is op zoek naar vervangende energie-bronnen voor de op non-actief gestelde kerncentrales. Drijvende windturbines kunnen uitkomst bieden. Met 2 demonstratieprojecten doet het land onderzoek naar deze vorm van energieopwekking. Meer info HIER.

Webinar voor cleantechbedrijven
De staat New York heeft de subsidietender NY Prize gepubliceerd. Hiermee komt zo’n $ 5 miljoen beschikbaar voor microgrid-projecten. Het consulaat-generaal in New York wil geïnteresseerde Nederlandse cleantechbedrijven begeleiden bij het traject. Op vrijdag 23 januari vindt een webinar plaats over de subsidietender. Met NY Prize wil de staat het gebruik van schone energie promoten en een betrouwbaar elektriciteitsnetwerk garanderen

Opvouwbare container dankzij Innovatiekrediet
Holland Container Innovations (HCI) heeft een marktgereed prototype ontwikkeld voor een in- en uitklapbare zeecontainer. Hiervoor hebben zij gebruik gemaakt van het Innovatiekrediet en de WBSO. Europese call voor medische technologie gelanceerd

Binnen het kader van de EUREKA- en Eurostars programma’s lanceren Zwitserland, Zweden en Nederland een gezamenlijke call voor R&D-projectideeën op het gebied van medische technologie.

Voor wie:
Consortia die voldoen aan de onderstaande criteria worden uitgenodigd projectideeën in te dienen:
Het consortium bestaat uit tenminste twee organisaties uit twee van de hierboven genoemde landen;
In het consortium is tenminste één onderzoekuitvoerende MKB-onderneming als deelnemer betrokken;
Het samenwerkingsproject betreft marktgerichte R&D gericht op de ontwikkeling van innovatieve producten of applicaties voor medisch diagnostische, therapeutische en/of zorgtoepassingen;
Er is in het samenwerkingsproject sprake van een evenwichtige verdeling van de kosten, risico’s en economische baten.

Indieningstermijn:
Tot 4 maart 2013 kunnen R&D-projectideeën worden ingediend.
