Maak kennis met biokunststoffen en –additieven

Met het oog op een groene economie en een duurzame toekomst neemt de vraag naar hernieuwbare grondstoffen alsmaar toe. Producenten en verwerkers kunnen hier niet langer omheen. Wilt u weten:
- welke nieuwe biopolymeren er op de markt zijn?
- wat ze voor uw product en proces kunnen betekenen?
- welke biomaterialen u kunt gebruiken in uw eigen product?
Kom dan naar de marktdag biopolymeren, waar vraag en aanbod op het gebied van biobased en bioafbreekbare polymeren samenkomen.

De marktdag biopolymeren is een unieke bijeenkomst omdat uw eigen producten en processen centraal staan. Leveranciers van commercieel beschikbare biokunststoffen en –additieven en leveranciers van biobased producten presenteren de nieuwste ontwikkelingen. Daarna is het mogelijk om één-op-één met de grondstofleveranciers en productleveranciers te praten.

Technologie- en innovatiebeleid in presidentiële verkiezingscampagnes VS 2012

De Amerikaanse Information Technology & Innovation Foundation (ITIF), een gerenommeerde Amerikaanse denktank in Washington DC, heeft zich de afgelopen tijd kritisch uitgesproken over het Amerikaanse nationale innovatiebeleid.

Nek-aan-nek innovatierace
Zo stelt het ITIF dat de VS zich in een nek-aan-nek innovatierace bevindt met de rest van de wereld en met name de opkomende markten, en dat (het herstellen van en de toekomstige) economische groei en innovatie onlosmakelijk verbonden zijn. Het ITIF schat in dat ten minste 75% van de economische groei sinds de Tweede Wereldoorlog te danken is aan technologische innovatie.
Technologie- en innovatiebeleid presidentskandidaten

President Obama heeft meer dan andere presidenten in het verleden aandacht aan innovatie besteed door meerdere strategieën op te stellen. Echter, de kunst is nu om die onderzoeken en white papers om te zetten in beleidspunten. Het ITIF vindt dat de administratie te weinig aandacht schenkt aan hoe belastingsystemen en aanpassingen aan regelgeving innovatie verder kunnen stimuleren.

Governor Romney richt zich juist voornamelijk op het juist afstellen van deze macro-economische omstandigheden. Daarnaast refereert zijn plan alleen naar de investeringen in fundamenteel onderzoek en R&D in de energiesector. Romney zou over de hele breedte federale steun voor onderzoek naar beneden brengen (met ten minste 5% op niet-defensieonderwerpen) en hij zou meer korten op R&D-steun ten opzichte van fundamenteel onderzoek.

Gratis workshop 'Haal meer uit octrooien', speciaal voor MKBers gegeven diverse locaties

Bent u bezig met een nieuw product? Laat een ander er niet mee vandoor gaan! Bescherm uw nieuwe product of productieproces. Een goede bescherming van een goede vinding verdient zichzelf dubbel en dwars terug.

Leer er alles over in deze workshop, speciaal voor innovatieve MKB-ers. In een paar uur leert u hoe u octrooien kunt inzetten in uw bedrijf. Ook leert u gebruik te maken van octrooi-informatie voor uw productontwikkeling.

De volgende vragen kunt u na deelname aan de workshop beantwoorden:

- Heeft het zin mijn product te beschermen?
- Welke beschermingsvormen zijn er?
- Hoe werkt het octrooisysteem?
- Wat kan mijn bedrijf met octrooien en andere beschermingsvormen?
- Wat zijn de kosten en opbrengsten?
- Hoe kan ik informatie uit octrooidatabanken gebruiken?
- Hoe kan ik zoeken in deze databanken?
- Hoe kan ik bedrijven vinden die met vergelijkbare innovaties bezig zijn?

Uiteraard is er tijdens de workshop voldoende tijd beschikbaar voor uw eigen vragen. Een deskundig octrooiadviseur van NL Octrooicentrum zal de workshop inhoudelijk verzorgen.

Maak kennis met internationaal talent! Connect lunchbijeenkomst 16 oktober

Op 16 oktober organiseren Saxion en Universiteit Twente in samenwerking met Kennispark en Innovatieplatform Twente een lunchbijeenkomst, waarbij geïnteresseerde bedrijven kennis kunnen maken met recent afgestudeerde, internationale talenten. Deze internationale studenten hebben hun Bachelor of Master afgerond aan Saxion of UT, en zijn zeer gemotiveerd om voor langere tijd in Nederland te werken. Het gaat daarbij om technici, maar ook afgestudeerden in marketing, business, finance en environmental sciences.

Via het internationale talentenprogramma Connect van Saxion en UT zijn reeds zo’n 30 afgestudeerden bij Nederlandse bedrijven aan het werk. Een werkgever en werknemer (OPRA Turbines) presenteren tijdens de lunch hun ervaringen met het programma, en er is korte uitleg over Connect . Daarna maken deelnemers via speeddate kennis met de huidige kandidaten.

De ondernemerspleinen, Syntens en Kamer van Koophandel gaan samen

Het Ondernemersplein
Als ondernemer wilt u natuurlijk vooral bezig zijn met ondernemen. Professionele ondersteuning en een goed ondernemersklimaat zijn daarbij enorm belangrijk. Het ministerie van EL&I, de Kamers van Koophandel, Syntens en Agentschap NL werken daarom samen om de dienstverlening van de overheid aan ondernemers over (internationaal) ondernemen en innoveren samen te brengen in het Ondernemersplein. Daarmee vermindert de huidige versnippering in dienstverlening aan ondernemers en dit bespaart u geld en ergernis.

Wat gaat het Ondernemersplein bieden?
De Kamer van Koophandel vormt samen met Syntens de basis voor het Ondernemersplein. Het plein is er voor alle ondernemers, in alle fasen van het ondernemerschap. Als ondernemer kunt u hier straks terecht voor alle informatie, voorlichting en advies over starten, ondernemerschap en innovatie. En ook voor zaken die u met de overheid moet regelen zoals registratie, belastingen, subsidies en vergunningen. Deze kunnen straks via het digitale ondernemersplein 24 uur per dag, 7 dagen per week geregeld worden. Het Ondernemersplein zal ook uit fysieke, regionale locaties bestaan. Daar kunt u terecht voor persoonlijke vragen, informatieve lezingen en workshops. Bovendien kunt u daar andere ondernemers ontmoeten.

Effectief en efficiënt
Uw wensen en die van uw medeondernemers zijn leidend. De dienstverlening wordt zoveel mogelijk digitaal aangeboden. Dit alles leidt tot aanzienlijke efficiencyvoordelen en lagere kosten voor u. De aangekondigde afschaffing van de jaarlijkse heffing van de KvK per 2013 draagt hier ook aan bij.

De Organisatie
De Kamers van Koophandel en Syntens worden samengebracht in één nieuwe organisatie. Deze nieuwe organisatie gaat, in nauwe samenwerking met Agentschap NL, het toekomstige Ondernemersplein regisseren en faciliteren. De huidige infrastructuur van de KvK vormt samen met Syntens daarbij de basis voor de nieuwe organisatie. Samen met de dienstverlening van Agentschap NL kunt u beschikken over een samenhangend pakket aan diensten. Naar verwachting zullen later ook andere publieke dienstverleners en mogelijk ook op ondernemers gerichte private organisaties aansluiten.

Stand van zaken
De totstandkoming van het Ondernemersplein is complex en uitdagend. Voor het samenvoegen van de Kamers van Koophandel en Syntens is een wetswijziging nodig, die vooralsnog op 1 januari 2014 zal ingaan. In de tussentijd werken de partijen verder aan het concept en aan het vormen van een nieuw bestuur.

Mijlpaal
Een belangrijke mijlpaal is de lancering van het digitale ondernemersplein, naar verwachting eind 2012. Hierop zullen in eerste instantie producten en diensten van de KvK, Syntens en delen van Agentschap NL staan. In de jaren daarna zal de digitale dienstverlening worden uitgebreid.

Een stand op de informatiemarkt van de Dag van Vernieuwend Ondernemen

‘De wereld verandert, verandert u mee?’ Onder deze titel organiseren de Kamer van Koophandel, Oost NV en Syntens op woensdag 24 oktober 2012 een inspirerende dag voor ondernemers. Een dag in het teken van vernieuwend ondernemen. Het evenement start met een presentatie van trendwatcher Vincent Everts. Daarna zijn er diverse workshops over trends op het gebied van internationalisatie, arbeidsmarkt en financiering.

De afsluiting is in handen van astronaut André Kuipers. Hij vertelt over zijn ervaringen in de ruimte met een link naar vernieuwend ondernemen. Gedurende het gehele evenement is er een informatiemarkt met allerlei organisaties en bedrijven. We sluiten de dag af met een netwerkborrel.
De Dag van Vernieuwend Ondernemen vindt plaats van 16.00 uur tot 20.00 bij Van der Valk Hotel Duiven bij Arnhem A12.
