International matchmaking at the professional trade fair MIDEST in Paris, France from 6th – 9th December 2016.

The international business cooperation platform at the 46th edition of MIDEST 2016 will be organised by Reed Expositions France and Enterprise Europe Network-Luxembourg next to the Chamber of Commerce of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in close collaboration with the members of the European Business Support Network “Enterprise Europe Network” and many other professional organisations worldwide, with the aim to facilitate and further strengthen the development of bilateral trade amongst the subcontracting community in Europe and beyond.
The MIDEST trade fair is known to be one of the world’s most important key platforms for industrial subcontractors at international scale, involved yearly the participation of more than 1,600 exhibitors and 41,000 visiting professionals from 78 different countries worldwide.

The matchmaking event at MIDEST since 2011:

• 723 companies from 28 countries
• 5,400 business meetings
• More than 50 partners organisations involved

The matchmaking event this year will be extended to the “Convergence for the Industry of the Future”, the major industry event under the patronage of Francois Hollande, President of the French Republic, that will take place in the framework of MIDEST 2016. The event will bring together the organisations and companies that are driving forward the major changes currently experienced by the industry community. Germany will be the guest of honour in the framework of this event this year.

Based on the success of the “Buyers Lounge” organised in the framework of the International Matchmaking Event over the last year, the organisers of MIDEST have decided to continue with this operation. The International Suppliers Fair is Europe's leading trade fair of the automotive supplier industry. It is also a thriving international market place where the latest trends and innovations in the industry are showcased. The IZB has shaped up to become a hot spot for automotive supplier industry worldwide, offering abundant opportunities to meet and network.

A large number of national and international suppliers meet at the fair, taking advantage of the unique communication and business platform in order to establish important business links with high-level representatives from Volkswagen Group, suppliers from Germany and abroad as well as other automobile manufacturers.
The IZB 2012 will take place for the 7th time in Wolfsburg, headquarters of Volkswagen Group. This year’s partner countries are Brazil and Argentina.
Matchmaking between potential business partners will be organized by the Enterprise Europe Network.
