In opvolging van het International Business Forum en om de officiële opening van ons nieuwe business centrum niet ongemerkt voorbij te laten gaan, zetten wij in de middag van 6 november de deuren van het WTC Twente open en stellen wij ons wereldwijde netwerk ter beschikking aan de ondernemers uit Oost-Nederland. 

Naast een aantal succesvolle ondernemers uit de regio, zoals Bas Oude Luttikhuis (ikwilvanmijnautoaf.nl), Jan Harmen Wiebenga (Triboform) en Geert Braaksma (voorzitter van de Twente Board), zullen er buitenlandse experts en meerdere ambassades en World Trade Centers op 6 november te gast zijn. Een unieke netwerkbijeenkomst van internationaal georiënteerde ondernemers, professionals en instellingen uit Oost Nederland en het Duitse grensgebied en landenexperts uit 15 landen onder één dak. De World Trade Day sluiten wij af met een Italiaanse netwerkborrel aangeboden door World Trade Center Trieste.

In dit bericht staan de meest nieuwe samenwerkingsvoorstellen van innovatieve ondernemers die zijn opgenomen in de databank van Entrprise Europe Network, gepubliceerd op 16 oktober 2017.

Het Enterprise Europe Network bestaat uit circa 70 aangesloten landen met contacten ter plaatse in de markt. De dienstverlening is veelal kostenloos vanuit financiering door de Europese Unie. In Nederland wordt dit netwerk onder andere door de KvK en RVO uitgevoerd.

De onderstaande profielen betreffen innovatieve technologieen en producten waarbij wordt gezocht naar international zakenpartners voor samenwerking en hebben tot doel het versnellen van de innovatie en time to market. Business : Searching representatives for electroless nickel plating performed via only one component Business OFFER from Israel An Israeli SME, which specialises in metal surface treatment and plating chemicals, has developed a new technology to perform electroless nickel plating with only one component. Technology : De-polymerisation of post-consumer PET. Upcycling PET bottles. Technology OFFER from Switzerland Swiss company offers network and know-how to de-polymerise post-consumer PET bottles. De-polymerisation is the process of converting a polymer into a monomer or a mixture of monomers. This means that the PET waste will be upcycled (back to pure PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) instead of downcycled (actual situation) and that it follows the closed loop circular economy concept. Theoretically availability of PET bottle material: 40,000 t/yr. Cooperation sought is manufacturing agreement.

Technology : Tailored battery packs with high performance, reliability and lifetime for applications in e-mobility, power tools and stationary appliances Technology OFFER from Austria An Austrian SME developed a module system of battery packs by connecting Lithium ion round-cells via laser welding. Together with a smart battery management system and a novel cooling unit design battery packs with highest efficiency (10-20% increased energy density), safety and lifetime are produced. The module system enables high flexibility for different applications. The SME offers license agreements, commercial agreements with technical assistance, technical and/or research cooperations.

Technology : Established Slovak university has developed an additive for improving the cetane number in diesel or biodiesel fuels Technology OFFER from Slovakia A research team from an established Slovak university has developed an innovative additive for improving the cetane number of diesel and biodiesel fuels. Improvement of cetane number has a significant effect on the reduction of ignition delay of fuel engines. The additive is based on bio-components, making it possible to increase the quality of fully ecological fuel. The university is looking for partners through license agreement or commercial agreement with technical assistance.

Technology : An innovative electro-medical device for testing psychomotor skills. Technology OFFER from Serbia A Serbian SME specialised in the manufacturing of electro-medical equipment is offering an innovative device for testing psychomotor skills. The main innovation advantages include reduced reaction time measured in thousandths of seconds, improved remote control and highly intuitive user interface. The company is looking for manufacturers of equipment for electro surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation interested in commercial agreement with technical assistance.

Technology : Road-tire adherence in the cold season optimized with novel technology Technology OFFER from Romania The Romanian invention presents a method to maximise road-tire adherence during unfavorable weather conditions in the cold season. The tire grip improved by this technology enhances (among other things): vehicle mobility, braking grip (thus reducing accidents), vehicle stability on steep gradients and/or tight bends, as well as vehicle stability when encountering side winds. The inventor is looking to engage with automotive manufacturers through technical cooperation agreement.

Technology : Alternative Bioleaching process of metals from secondary resources (industrial wastes) Technology OFFER from Belgium A Belgian Research Centre developed (stage of development: technology validated in lab TRL 4) a microbial assisted leaching process designed for metal recovery from secondary resources. The technology is based on a new process integrating bacterial cell encapsulation for a higher resistance to dissolved organics and heavy metals. The research center looks for companies and universities to develop European projects and further applications in other sectors (other residues)

Research & Development : H2020 SC4: Traffic Psychology entity to perform driving behavioural studies are sought Research & Development REQUEST from Spain A Spanish research organization acting as coordinator in a project H2020-SC4 is looking for a partner to complete their consortium. The objective of the project is to overcome the limitations of the driving simulators and traffic simulation as valid tools for studies in traffic safety, and bridge the gap between them and naturalistic driving tests.
