Gesprekken Twentse en Russische bedrijven in St. Petersburg succesvol verlopen

Onder leiding van het WTC Twente en in samenwerking met WTC St. Petersburg hebben vorige week vier Twentse bedrijven 40 gesprekken gevoerd met 20 Russische bedrijven. En met succes. Er mogen offertes gemaakt worden en WTC Twente directeur Freerk Faber heeft de Russen uitgenodigd voor een tegenbezoek aan Twente. Of zoals de TC Tubantia maandagochtend kopte: "Na geslaagde eerste handelsmissie: De Russen komen". De vier bedrijven die mee zijn geweest zijn Holland Hydraulics (Hengelo), Daussiny Laser Welding (Enschede) - beide lid van de WTC Twente Business Club - Matel Metaal (Vriezenveen) en Herwi (Holten).

De matchmaking gesprekken maakten deel uit van de Twentse handelsmissie die van 3 t/m 6 juli jl. in Sint Petersburg plaatsvond. Na de zomervakantie is er met de bedrijven een evaluatie waarin op de missie wordt terugkeken maar ook vooruit in de vorm van mogelijke vervolgacties.

Overijsselse ondernemers bij feestelijke lunch Provinciehuis geweest op 24 juni 2013

Trotse ondernemers op provinciehuis in Zwolle, acht ondernemers uit Overijssel in MKB Innovatie Top 100

Uitgeverij Dyslexion geeft boeken uit in een speciaal gemaakte letter, die voor mensen met dyslexie lekkerder leest. Dyslexie gaat er niet van over, maar de meeste gebruikers ervaren het lezen van dit lettertype als prettig en minder vermoeiend. Dyslexion uit Deventer veroverde hiermee de 12^e plaats in de MKB Innovatie Top 100 2013. De ondernemer en zijn vrouw namen naast gedeputeerde Theo Rietkerk plaats aan de dis op het Provinciehuis.

De gedeputeerde zat op het puntje van zijn stoel toen hij luisterde naar de Overijsselse ondernemers tijdens de feestelijke lunch die werd georganiseerd door Syntens Innovatiecentrum en de Provincie Overijssel. Hij liet de aanwezige ondernemers weten trots op ze te zijn. Acht Overijsselse ondernemers veroverden tenslotte een plek in de MKB Innovatie Top 100 2013 en nog eens 21 hadden geprobeerd zover te komen. Tijdens de lunch sprak Rietkerk uitgebreid en ontspannen met de aanwezige gasten. Hij vroeg ze aan te geven waar ze tegenaan liepen en wat de provincie zou kunnen beteken. Een aantal gaf aan dat het niet gemakkelijk is een goede vertaalslag naar de markt te maken. Alle vragen en opmerkingen zijn genoteerd en worden door de provincie en Syntens opgepakt.
