Overview
Brought to you by KTN, the UK National Contact Points (NCPs), SusChem UK and Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), this event focuses on forthcoming 2017 H2020 call topics in ‘SPIRE, FOF and LCE’ and will provide you with the opportunity to:
  • Identify and link with new partners across Europe
  • Join consortia forming around forthcoming 2017 call topics
  • Discuss and refine your projects ideas with potential partners
  • Gather information on forthcoming 2017 call topics
  • Take advantage of the NCP, KTN and EEN support available on the day

Programme Agenda
  • 9:30 Registration opens for a prompt 10:00am start of the event.
  • The UK National Contact Points for SPIRE, FoF (Craig Sharp) and LCE (Helen Fairclough) will lead through the call topics covered by the event and answer any questions you may have in relation to these call topics.
  • An evaluator’s view will provide you with guidance on dos and dont’s for proposal preparation.
  • Flash delegate introduction & flash presentation of project ideas
  • Proposal Workshop Session. Brainstorming activities between potential partners on proposal ideas for the forthcoming calls topics covered by the event. At session end each group is invited to present and discuss progress made.

Who should attend
The event is suitable for anyone with an interest in participating in European projects in the forthcoming 2017 call topics in SPIRE, FOF and LCE. The aim is to have a variety of prior experience in European projects represented, ranging from newcomers to coordinating EU projects on a regular basis. Representatives from industry (small and large), academia, RTOs and other types of organisations with appropriate skills and expertise to address the forthcoming 2017 call topics in SPIRE, FOF and LCE.
Note, the number of spaces available for each organisation type is limited and industry participation is encouraged in particular. Delegates from all European Member States are encouraged to attend the event. Note, a third of the spaces available are reserved for non-UK participants. The number of spaces is limited to 60 delegates. We reserve the right to limit participation to one representative per organisation.

Call for Proposals: Advanced Building Skins conference 11&11 October 2016 Bern -Switserland

On behalf of the Conference Committee, I am pleased to invite you to the 11th International Conference on Advanced Building Skins, to be held in Bern, Switzerland, on 10-11 October 2016. The aim of the Conference is to contribute to a multidisciplinary integrated planning approach by architects, engineers, scientists and manufacturers to reduce energy consumption of buildings. By fostering lively exchange between these groups, this conference will shed light on the significance of the building skin, with a view to putting scientific know-how into practice.

We are inviting you to present a paper on a topic falling within the scope of the conference, and to submit a proposal by 15 February 2016.

Proposals should be sharply focused; please avoid an introduction to the topic or a description of your organization. Each proposal should clearly identify its subject and its particular approach to it. You can submit your proposal in either English or German.

Please include the following information in your proposal:
  • paper title plus 3 bullet points
  • author’s and co-author’s names
  • phone number, email address and postal address
  • synopsis of 300 words (abstract) with 6 keywords

See the 2016 program for samples of bullet points; please do not use words like Introduction, Results, Conclusions, or Case Studies as bullet points.

Proposals should be submitted through the abstract submission form on the website. The Scientific Conference Committee will review your proposal, and submitters will be notified by 30 March regarding the status of their submission.
