Green Tech Week 2014: 6 t/m 11 oktober 2014 Oost Nederland laat zien wat er op duurzaamheid gebeurt

Oost Nederland staat van maandag 6 tot en met zaterdag 11 oktober 2014 in het teken van de Green Tech Week. Professionals in de energie- en milieutechnologie laten aan ondernemers, overheden en andere geïnteresseerden zien wat ze in de sector doen. Het is een ontmoetingsweek waarin het in de hele regio bruist van de activiteiten, die bijdragen aan de innovatie van de energie- & milieutechnologie en de energietransitie & biobased economy versnellen.

Waarom en wat
Door het hele jaar heen is er een enorm aanbod van activiteiten en evenementen binnen de energie- en milieutechnologie in Oost Nederland. Georganiseerd door ondernemers, overheid, burgers, onderwijs- en onderzoeksinstellingen. Dit jaar bundelen we voor het eerst onze krachten in één week. We laten aan elkaar zien waar we mee bezig zijn. Zo kan iedereen ervaren hoe bijzonder de wereld van green tech is. We vergroten de kans op het ontstaan van mooie contacten, die ons allen verder brengen in de energietransitie. En we kunnen onze gezamenlijke kracht laten zien als energie- en milieutechnologie-regio.

Thema's
De inhoudelijke thema’s tijdens deze week zijn Duurzame energie (opwekking, opslag en transport) , Energiebesparing, Duurzame mobiliteit, Biobased Eonomy en Circulaire economie.

Doelstelling
GreenTech Week laat het zien in een week met circa 30 evenementen.

Wat is GreenTech?
GreenTech heeft alles te maken met innovaties, gericht op duurzame energie. Of het nu gaat om opwekken, transporteren, verdelen of besparen. Of het nu gaat om zon, wind, water of biomassa.

Voor wie is de GreenTech Week?
Primaire doelgroep qua activiteiten in Oost-Nederland: bedrijfsleven, kennisinstellingen, intermediairs, studenten, coöperaties, lokale en regionale overheden.
Secundaire doelgroep: politiek Den Haag, beleidsmakers, internationale relaties, topsector-spelers /grote bedrijven buiten regio, brede publiek.
