Ontwikkelingen als Smart Industry en Industrie 4.0 zullen er voor zorgen dat de maakindustrie steeds meer uit digitale fabrieken zal bestaan. Een flink aantal grote bedrijven heeft hier al forse stappen in gezet. Daarnaast zijn er veel bedrijven die de ontwikkeling van digitalisering om zich heen zien en dit zelf ook meer willen toepassen. In response to the H2020 "LC-GV-04-2019: Low-emissions propulsion for long-distance trucks and coaches" the coordinator of the project is seeking partners to integrate a heat to power recovery technology reducing energy consumption on an vehicle through a research cooperation agreement. Partners sought are trucks and passenger cars manufacturers.

Het jaar loopt al naar het einde, zo ook de laatste workshops om meer te leren over octrooien. Ook als u zelf geen octrooi heeft is het interessant want het biedt u een blik achter technische ontwikkelingen in uw marktgebied vaak een klein jaar voordat u deze techniek in de markt tegen komt.
Daarnaast is een octrooi ook vaak een mogelijkheid voor u om een licentie te nemen, u kunt dat met de ontwikkelde techniek zelf een markt bewerken en zo ontwikkelrisico vermijden.
Maar octrooien kunnen ook strategische tactieken zijn en inzicht geven in de product levenscyclus en of er al alternatieve technieken binnenkort zijn te verwachten. Kortom, altijd leerzaam er iets meer van te weten, gratis deelname, legitimatie verplicht!
