The International Business Information Center (IBIC) of the World Trade Center (WTC) Twente matches the global demand and supply with the Dutch-German Euregional businesses. The IBIC is a unique partnership between the World Trade Center Twente, the Chamber of Commerce East Netherlands and the Enterprise Europe Network (a European project of Syntens, Agency NL and EVD/Economic Information Department). The IBIC was launched in April 2009 and on a weekly basis international profiles are evaluated and provided to matching local industries. Profiles vary from finding a suitable agent, distributor or partner. In addition, profiles of regional Business Club members are sent on to one of the other 300 WTC's in the world. In this way IBIC helps regional companies to internationalize their operations and aids foreign companies in setting up locations in the Dutch-German border region.
Together with the Development Agency East Netherlands, Oost NV. The WTC Twente, the Chamber of Commerce and Syntens search their databases for possible matches.
To maintain a high level of confidentiality no data exchange between the three databases are provided.
The Business Club of the WTC Twente is the first group, which is screened for possible matches. Followed by companies from the Chamber of Commerce and Syntens. These companies are noted on the added value of this IBIC service as provided through the WTC Twente. Apart from the matching, the IBIC also can guide your company to a suitable business relation within the WTC partners. IBIC is one of the pillars of the World Trade Center Twente.
